June 8-10, 2012 - Castello Banfi as official sponsor of TUSCAN REWIND 2012
(Montalcino, May 22 2012) - The roads of Montalcino, made famous in the 1980s by the world rally racing championships, will come back under the spotlight during the second weekend of June (6/8, 9 and 10), thanks to Tuscan Rewind – a race on dirt roads for classic autos, this year in its 3rd edition.
The race, featuring some of the greats of yesterday and today, will also include several special events. Among these will be a parade celebrating the 25th anniversary of the “queen” Lancia Delta, open to all Delta owners, led by the champions who helped make it a legend of the rally.
Castello Banfi has supported Tuscan Rewind since its inception. This year, in addition to the Trophy – a selection of the estate’s top wines – they are also putting up a weekend stay at the splendid Castello Banfi – Il Borgo for the winner of the Classic Cars category.
