Enoteca & Balsameria
Our "Enoteca" is a re-created Tuscan shoppe come-wine-bar for enjoying our extensive selection of wines, grappa, extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey; artisan pastas, cookies and local ceramics, wools, soaps, stemware, wine jewelry and service items; "coffee table" books on wine, cooking, gardens, and Tuscan history and architecture. Here you can enjoy flights of Castello Banfi estate wines by the glass, accompanied by an optional "Tuscan Flavors" plate of regional bread, cheese and salumi. Open 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 15 to November 15, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. November 15 to March 15.
“Balsameria” – visit the origin of our precious Salsa Balsamica Etrusca – a rich, concentrated balsamic vinegar of ancient Etruscan recipes, aged to a delicious condiment in small barriques of six different tightly grained woods.
