Enoteca & Balsameria
Our "Enoteca" is a re-created Tuscan shop wine-bar for enjoying our extensive selection of wines, grappa, extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey; artisan pastas, cookies and local ceramics, wools, soaps, stemware, wine jewelry and service items; "coffee table" books on wine, cooking, gardens, and Tuscan history and architecture. Here you can enjoy flights of Castello Banfi estate wines by the glass, accompanied by an optional "Tuscan Flavors" plate of regional bread, cheese and salumi. Open 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 1st to November 3rd; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. November 4th to February 28th (closed on December 25th and January 1st).
“Balsameria” – visit the origin of our precious Salsa Balsamica Etrusca – a rich, concentrated balsamic vinegar of ancient Etruscan recipes, aged to a delicious condiment in small barriques of six different tightly grained woods.
