   Castello Banfi, in collaboration with Valdichiana Tour, provides the following transportation and tour services to ensure that all guests can safely enjoy the flavors and atmosphere of our unique territory.  Valdichiana Tour, specializing in reliable transportation and tour services in Italy since 1997, guarantees knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous drivers who are very experienced with the area.  

The Wine Bus 

   The “wine bus” is a specialized service offered by Valdichiana Tour that provides safe, comfortable transportation to Castello Banfi from Florence and Siena.  The service is available to individuals and groups who wish to visit the captivating village and fortress of Montalcino and experience the hospitality of Castello Banfi. 

In addition to quick, convenient, and commodious transportation to and from Castello Banfi, the service includes a two-hour stop in Montalcino for shopping and site-seeing, the exquisite three-course lunch with wines and aperitifs offered by Castello Banfi, access to the castle’s Glass Museum, shopping in the Enoteca, and a guided tour of Banfi’s cantinas. Service is available year-round, Mondays and Thursdays (excluding days when the Taverna is closed or when guided tours are not available).

   Note: Although there are other Italian companies offering similar services, Valdichiana Tour is in fact the first officially sanctioned by the regional authorities of Tuscany. This is an additional standard and a guarantee of high-quality service for the customer.

 Service Includes:

-         Round-trip transportation services from Florence and Siena to Castello Banfi/Montalcino in an air-conditioned luxury minibus/bus “granturismo”

-         Two-hour stop in Montalcino for a visit of the village on your own

-         3-course lunch at Castello Banfi with a selection of 3 wines and aperitif

-         Visits of the Glass Museum and Enoteca

-         Guided tour of the Castello Banfi cantinas

-         All tax and a regular receipt for the amount paid

 Service does NOT include: 

-         Private transportation within Montalcino

-         Extra stops not stipulated in the schedule

-         Note that one-way tickets are NOT available

-         A Euro 16,00 supplement for 5-course lunch at Castello Banfi

 Limousine Service, Private Car, and Bus Transportation

Valdichiana Tour, in collaboration with Castello Banfi, provides the following transportation services to ensure that all guests safely enjoy the flavours and atmosphere of our unique territory. We offer reliable, luxurious transportation by private car, guaranteeing high quality service and attentiveness. Individual guests and small groups will be escorted to and from Castello Banfi in luxury Mercedes Benz vehicles with professional drivers who are very experienced with the territory.

 
Special for Cruise Lines: Full day at Castello Banfi…

Quotes include:

·        Vehicle plus English-speaking driver

·        Driver’s meal

·        Tour of Castello Banfi wineries during normal operating hours

·        Reservations service for lunch and tours, if necessary (depending on availability)

Quotes do not include:

·        The cost of either a three or five course meal at Castello Banfi

·        Extra hours or services 

    Valdichiana is pleased to offer transportation for larger groups with Mercedes Benz grand-tourism vehicles accommodating from 16 to 48 passengers.  All vehicles contain large luggage ports, overhead space for carry-on items, air-conditioning, seatbelts for every seat, reclining seatbacks, microphones, AM/FM stereo, and much more.  Our larger buses also have TV monitors with a VCR and DVD. Customized quotes for bus services are available upon request.
