PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE
A careful grape selection follows a green harvest in order to reduce yield to 6 metric tonsper hectare. A brief cold maceration (24 hours at 8-10°C) is followed by skin-contactfermentation for 8 days, with frequent pumping over. The must is then warmed to 35°Cand then left to macerate for another 24 hours.The alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanksfollowed by malolactic in barrique. The 12-month aging takes places 80% in 350-lt barriquesand 20% in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then bottle aged for 12 months.
DESCRIPTION
COLOUR: ruby red, intense and very deep.
BOUQUET: complex at initial impact. Clear hints of small red berries complementedby vanilla and spice notes.
TASTE : immediately wide and soft on the palate, enriched by the presence of silky tannins.Very long finish.

A great noble Piedmontese grape variety. Power and richness in this wine are perfectlyintegrated with elegance and harmony Aging in small oak barrels enhances its complexity.
